Based on the assumption that we were basically good in almost all places that we visited, the palm of the worst restaurant it is certainly the restaurant "LA FERME A DEDE" in Grenoble, local characterised by low cleaning and the food poor. Given that was the first local French we visited the thing we had frankly demoralized. Fortunately, once understood what meant the various items in the menu, we always ate well, even the sandwiches is that Highway in Bordeaux were good, until you reach the restaurant "LE BEC FIN" in Orange, which was certainly the best both as host and as quality of food, where I enjoyed an excellent appetizer of snails (the famous escargot) followed by duck into bittersweet.
In the midst of these, in ascending order, I quote the excellent paella restaurant "LE CAPITOUL" in Toulouse, the menu of the day "POIVRE ET SEL" in Blois, the entrecote the maitre d'hotel of "L'ESPACE CARNOT" in Lione, Mixed with the fried rice pilaf contour of the restaurant "LA CASA" in Tours, the dishes called assiette restaurant "LE CANOT" in La Rochelle, pizza of pizza "VOLPONE" in Orléans, the flesh of the tartare "BRASSERIE DU DOYENNE" in Lione and pizza de "L'AEROPIZZA" in Bourges.
As for hotels, one where we found was the worse "FORMULE 1" in Blois because the toilets and shower were in common with all other guests, and one where we found was the best "BEST WESTERN HOTEL ARENE KULM" in Orange.
In the midst of these, again in ascending order and of course in my opinion, and I quote the hotel "BALLANDIS" in La Rochelle, the "SPLENDID HOTEL" in Grenoble, the "LOGITEL" in Bourges, the hotel "OURS BLANC WILSON" in Toulouse and the Hotel "LA RESIDENCE" in Lione.
A curiosity: in almost all autogrill and some hotels were present vending machines of coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate e... ZUPPA DI VEGETABLES !!!!
